SUSPECT CAUGHT: Michigan State Police searching for inmate who escaped from hospital in Newaygo Co.

Police have confirmed they have arrested Davis following a chase Tuesday afternoon.

Police are searching for an inmate that escaped from Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Hospital before 9am, Tuesday.

Michigan State Police say 32-year old Ian Riley-Jackson Davis is described as a white male, 6' 1", 200 lbs, slender build with black hair and green eyes. Tattoos on right arm and left and right calf. Last seen wearing orange jumpsuit pants with no shirt.

Police advise residents to lock their cars and homes.

Davis was arrested on a number of vehicle break-ins around Newaygo County.
