Evelyn was born on May 18, 1931, in Clare, Michigan, to William and Olive George. She dedicated much of her life to caring for others, working as an LPN and a CORT., including 25 years of service at Lakeview Hospital. Her compassion and dedication touched the lives of many throughout her years in healthcare.

On July 27, 1948, Evelyn married the love of her life, Malcolm Taylor. Together, they built a family and shared a lifetime of memories.

Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a cherished member of her family and will be remembered for the love she shared, the care she gave to others, and the special place she held in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Evelyn was blessed to be part of five generations of family, a beautiful legacy of love that will continue to grow through the generations who follow her. She was especially blessed to have her grandson, Matthew, serve as her caregiver. His presence, care, and unwavering support during the later years of her life were a special gift, bringing comfort, companionship, and love during a time when she needed it most. Having family by her side was a blessing that will always be remembered and cherished.

In her personal time, Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, a craft that reflected her patience, creativity, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Malcolm; her daughter, Rebecca; her grandson, Stewart Clouse; and her granddaughter Makala Taylor.

She leaves behind five loving children, Sandra, Roberta, Tracy, Mac, and Sherry; her beloved grandchildren; her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way.

Evelyn’s love, kindness, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. Her legacy lives on through the five generations she leaves behind, each carrying a piece of her love, memories, and the family bonds she helped create. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of her family. Five generations of love, a lifetime of memories, and a legacy that will live on forever.
