One passenger was taken to the hospital late Sunday morning following a two car accident in Mecosta County's Millbrook Township.

It happened on 30th Ave (M-66) at Cypress Rd.

Deputies say the accident occurred when a southbound passenger car on 30th Ave (driven by a 47 year old man from Barryton) made a u-turn in the intersection of 30th Ave and Cypress Rd. The car was struck another south bound passenger car (driven by a 46 year old man from Sanford, MI).

A passenger in the second car received minor non-life threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Mt. Pleasant.
