CLARE COUNTY

 

Gladwin Community Schools

(Arthur & Hamilton Townships)

  • Voting on a school bond proposal of $26,800,000 for facility upgrades, including but not limited to new school entryways, additional classrooms for preschool programs, reconfigured playground areas, upgraded drop off areas, and new electric, plumbing, and roofing for junior high buildings. 

  • Initial millage is 1.40 mills (0.05 increase from the previous year’s levy), will maintain at 1.40 mills to retire the debt

  • Maximum duration of 28 years per series.

Harrison Community Schools

(City of Harrison + Arthur, Franklin, Frost, Greenwood, Hamilton, Hatton, Hayes, Summerfield, & Winterfield Townships)

  • Voting on a school bond proposal of $7,170,000 for facility upgrades, including but not limited to middle school flooring upgrades, new entry way and bathrooms in the Early Childhood Center, high school HVAC improvements, and new paved roads and parking lots.

  • Initial millage is 0.70 mills (zero net increase from the previous year’s levy), will rise to 0.90 mill to retire the debt

  • Maximum duration of 15 years per series


ISABELLA COUNTY

 

Chippewa Hills School District

  • Voting on a school bond proposal of $39,900,000 for facility upgrades, including but not limited to a new auxiliary gym, new fire alarm systems, ADA accessibility features to restrooms and entrances, classroom and kitchen renovations, and adding a new learning center.

  • Initial millage is 1.24 mills (zero net increase from the previous year’s levy), will increase to 1.67 mills to retire the debt

  • Maximum duration of 25 years per series.


LAKE COUNTY
 

Kaleva Norman Dickinson School District 

(Elk Township)

  • Voting on a school bond proposal of $9,500,000 for facility upgrades, including but not limited to a new early childhood center, security upgrades, renovated playgrounds, and new parking lots.

  • Initial millage is 1.40 mills (zero net increase from the previous year’s levy), will increase to 3.18 mills to retire the debt

  • Maximum duration of 10 years per series.

Mason County Central School District

(Lake & Sweetwater Townships)

  • Voting on a school bond proposal of $22,375,000 for facility upgrades, including but not limited to secure entrance remodels, new restroom building for athletics, adding a locker room to elementary school, technology updates, high school electricity improvements, and parking lot construction.

  • Initial millage is 2.15 mills (zero net increase from the previous year’s levy), will average out to 1.87 mills to retire the bond

  • Maximum duration of 30 years per series.

Reed City Area Public Schools

(Chase & Pinora Townships)

  • Voting on a school bond proposal of $75,500,000 for facility upgrades, including but not limited to a new gymnasium, renovating the current gym into a performance arts center, new sidewalks and parking lots, new playground at elementary school, and upgraded technology.

  • Initial millage is 4.50 mills (zero net increase from the previous year’s levy), will increase to 6.28 mills to retire the debt

  • Maximum duration of 26 years per series.

Stanton City Council

  • Voting for three city commissioner seats

    • Commissioner candidates: Lewis Corwin (incumbent), Jacky McGill (incumbent), Charles Miel (incumbent)

Tri County Area Public Schools

(Maple Valley, Pierson, Reynolds, & Winfield Townships)

  • Voting on a sinking fund millage proposal to raise approximately $994,014 per year for building repairs, student transportation vehicles, new turf stadium field, high school lighting upgrades, and construction of a new central office construction.

  • Millage to create sinking fund would be 1.50 mills

  • Fixed duration of 10 years


OSCEOLA COUNTY

 

Cedar Township

  • Voting on millage increase to raise $55,929 per year for fire protection and emergency medical services.

  • Millage would increase by up to 1.50 mills

  • Maximum duration of 4 years
