Big Rapids Police responded to a motorcycle crash on Friday morning, Aug. 21, at approximately 8:03 a.m.

The wreck occured in the 1000 block of S. State Street when a 47-year-old man from Evart was ejected from his motorcyle after colliding with a truck. He was transported via AeroMed to Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids.

According to Big Rapids Police, the crash is under investigation.

The Big Rapids Police Department was assisted on scene by the Big Rapids Fire Department, Ferris State University DPS, the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office, The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Posse, Mecosta County EMS, and Meceola Central Dispatch.
