Darcie Marie Raglin, 55

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darcie Marie Raglin, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who left us on October 8, 2026, at the age of 55.

Born on May 13, 1971, in Georgia, Darcie embodied a spirit of resilience and strength throughout her life, facing her battle with cancer with immense courage and determination. Darcie was a devoted homemaker and lawn caretaker, who poured her heart and soul into her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Dan Raglin.

She was a pillar of strength, fiercely opinionated, and unafraid to voice her thoughts, qualities that endeared her to all who knew her. A true family woman, Darcie found joy in the laughter and love of her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. An avid lover of the outdoors, Darcie found solace and adventure in mushroom hunting and creating beautiful memories at the cabin. Her passion for nature mirrored her approach to life—always embracing each moment with enthusiasm and love. Darcie’s spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her stubbornness as a testament to her strength, her love for the outdoors, and her unbreakable bond with those she cherished.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Darcie Marie Raglin will be held on October 12, 2026, at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Lakeview. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place afterward at Cato Township Cemetery in Lakeview.

Following the services, family and friends are warmly invited to gather for a luncheon at 11550 N. Backus Road, Lakeview, MI 48850. This gathering will be an opportunity to share fond memories, stories, and reflections while honoring Darcie’s life, the love she shared, and the strength she will always be remembered for.

Darcie is survived by her husband Dan, children Curtis Raglin and Makennha (Victor) Arnold. Brothers Chris (Quinn) Fate and Eric Fate, and grandchildren, Ryker and Luna. Along with many dear friends, nieces, and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to help cover funeral expenses during this difficult time.  Darcie was preceded in death by: her parents, Alex and Suzan Fate.
